Course Introduction
This course provides participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required under the OSHA HAZWOPER Standard (29 CFR 1910.120). It is designed for occasional site workers and employees visiting uncontrolled hazardous waste operations or emergency response sites where exposure to hazardous substances is possible.
The training covers hazard recognition, safe work practices, protective equipment, and emergency procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA and equivalent state or international regulations. Participants will learn to identify potential hazards, apply appropriate control measures, and respond effectively to incidents involving hazardous materials.
