Course Introduction
This course provides participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills to accept dangerous goods consignments by air in compliance with the latest edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) and the ICAO Technical Instructions.
The training emphasizes acceptance procedures, documentation checks, package inspection, marking, labeling, and handling requirements, ensuring compliance with international civil aviation standards. It also highlights operator variations and national authority requirements, preparing participants to handle responsibilities in a safe and regulatory-compliant manner.
Designed for professionals involved in the acceptance and handling of DG shipments, this course is mandatory and must be renewed every 24 months as per IATA/ICAO regulations.
